What You'll Be Working On
-As a Full-Stack Developer, you'll be a core contributor to the architecture, development, and scaling of our platform:
-Building and maintaining scalable backend APIs using
Nest.js
and
Express.js
-Creating SEO-friendly, SSR-capable frontends using
Next.js
-Designing infrastructure that supports our modular monolith today and microservices tomorrow
-Implementing granular permissions, audit trails, and AI-assisted review workflows
-Integrating Python-based AI services for content analysis and risk scoring
-Contributing to a developer-first culture in a fast-moving, startup-style team
Key Responsibilities-
-Architect and build backend services using Nest.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL
-Build responsive, accessible, and performant frontends with Next.js
-Participate in DevOps processes, from containerization (Docker) to CI/CD pipelines
-Support the migration from a monolith to microservices when the platform scales
-Write clean, testable, maintainable code with good documentation and GitHub collaboration practices
-Collaborate across functions (Product, AI/ML, DevOps) in a fast-paced, agile environment
Must-Have Skills-
-Proficiency in
Nest.js, Express.js, and Next.js
-Experience working with PostgreSQL, Redis, and API development best practices
-Clear understanding of modular monolith architecture and readiness to evolve to microservices
-Deep familiarity with Git and GitHub: branching, PR reviews, releases
-Hands-on experience with Docker and container-based development
-Experience in a startup environment or similarly fast-paced, high-ownership teams
-Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve ambiguous problems
-Understanding of secure auth mechanisms: OAuth 2.0, JWT, 2FA
Nice-to-Have Skills-
-Knowledge of AWS (ECS, S3, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager)
-Exposure to event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
-Experience integrating or supporting AI/ML services, especially with Python
-Familiarity with regulatory environments, audit logs, or compliance platforms
-Experience with tools like Swagger, Postman, GitLab CI/CD, or Prometheus/Grafana
