Key Responsibilities

Architect and build scalable web applications using

Svelte

(frontend) and

PHP Laravel

(backend).


Implement responsive, accessible UIs, writing clean and maintainable code.


Develop RESTful APIs, manage business logic, and ensure smooth database operations (MySQL/PostgreSQL).


Deploy and manage services on

AWS

--EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, etc.


Write and maintain unit tests; ensure quality with code reviews and best practices.


Troubleshoot cross-stack issues and optimize performance/security.


Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver high-impact features.

Required Qualifications

At least

2 years of hands
on

experience in full-stack development.


Strong proficiency in

Svelte

, or equivalent modern frontend frameworks, with the ability to adopt Svelte quickly.


Deep experience with

PHP and Laravel framework

.


Solid understanding of REST APIs, MVC architecture, and ORM patterns.


Comfort with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL).


Proficiency in Git-based version control.


Proven experience deploying to

AWS

with best practices in scalability and reliability.


Familiarity with modern frontend tooling (e.g. Vite, ES6+).


Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Ability to manage tasks independently and as part of a high-performing team.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

Experience in unit testing, TDD, or similar testing methodologies.


Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.


Exposure to Docker containerization.


Previous work in agile or scrum environments.
