Job Description

Primary Goal:

To enhance and expand their arcade game launch platform, focusing on core game functionalities, user engagement, and integration with retro games (like EmulatorJS), while maintaining scalability, performance, and modern architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Backend API development & maintenance.

Frontend (desktop app) development, especially integrating with arcade hardware.

Integrate & enhance EmulatorJS for retro gaming.

Handle user authentication/authorization and account management.

Manage automation workflows (possibly CI/CD, user flow automation).

Collaborate with a 6-developer team.

Debug and resolve technical/gameplay issues.

Required Skills:

Full-stack experience: backend, frontend, and cloud.

Strong with API development and relational databases.

Experience with desktop apps (likely Electron or similar).

Familiarity with user auth systems.

Experience with automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, CI/CD, or custom).

Strong communicator and team player.

Passion for gaming and interactive experiences.

Bonus Points For:

Game development background.

Agile workflow experience.

Open-source contributions (especially gaming/emulation).

Experience with modern web frameworks (React, Vue, etc.).
