Role Overview

Full Stack Developer with strong e-commerce experience

to manage, enhance, and scale our digital commerce platforms.

The role requires hands-on expertise across

frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and third-party integrations

, with a strong understanding of

Shopify and e-commerce workflows

This position functions as an

agency-style execution role

, where the developer is expected to independently deliver features, integrations, fixes, and optimizations with minimal supervision, while coordinating with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

end-to-end web applications

for e-commerce operations Build and customize

Shopify themes, apps, and integrations

Develop and consume

REST APIs

for payments, inventory, CRM, logistics, and analytics Ensure

website performance, scalability, security, and uptime

Collaborate with design, marketing, and e-commerce teams to translate requirements into functional solutions Troubleshoot production issues and deploy fixes within defined SLAs Maintain clean, documented, and reusable code

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

1. Delivery & Execution

Timely delivery of assigned development tasks, features, and fixes Ability to independently manage workstreams without repeated follow-ups Clear adherence to briefs, timelines, and technical requirements

2. E-Commerce Platform Stability

Maintain high availability and performance of Shopify and connected systems Ensure smooth checkout, payment processing, and order flow Minimize bugs, downtime, and user-impacting errors

3. Integration & Automation

Successful implementation of third-party integrations (payments, shipping, CRM, analytics) Automate repetitive workflows to improve operational efficiency Maintain data consistency across systems

4. Performance & Optimization

Improve website speed, responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals Support CRO initiatives through technical improvements Optimize backend logic and database queries

5. Code Quality & Documentation

Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code Maintain proper documentation for integrations, APIs, and custom logic Follow version control and deployment best practices

6. Collaboration & Communication

Communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders Translate business requirements into technical solutions Provide realistic effort estimates and progress updates

7. Compliance & Security

Ensure data security and best practices for user information Follow access control, backup, and recovery protocols Adhere to confidentiality and IP ownership requirements

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience as a

Full Stack Developer

Strong experience with

e-commerce platforms (Shopify preferred)

Proficiency in

JavaScript

, backend frameworks (Node.js / Python / PHP), and databases Experience with

API integrations

, payment gateways, and third-party services Familiarity with

cloud deployment, Git, and CI/CD workflows
