Job Description

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a comprehensive accounting software solution. You will work closely with an Accountant to ensure the software meets the highest standards of quality and functionality. We are a small start up and work from co working space in sector 73 Mohali.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable front-end and back-end components of the accounting software. Develop user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Build robust and efficient server-side applications and APIs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features. Ensure the application's performance, security, and responsiveness. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, and conduct code reviews. Integrate third-party services and APIs as needed. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of accounting or financial software projects. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Experience with database design and management (SQL, NoSQL). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of security best practices in software development. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools.
