What you\'ll be doing...

In this role, you\'ll work on a suite of applications which support customers with self-service, billing, and reporting features of Verizon wireless products and services on My Business portal.

• Designing Enterprise application and development for high-scale and availability.
• Developing responsive web applications and integration with internal and third-party APIs.
• Developing of prototypes, pilots, and full-scale applications.
• Participating in requirements review meetings and performing requirement analysis.
• Handling change requests/support on a daily basis.
• Improving performance of applications on an ongoing basis.
• Partnering with QA team to address identified defects on time.
• Participating in post-implementation issues and performance reviews.
• Guiding the team on new implementation within the specified tech stack.
• Reducing the MTTR on all prod issues and reduce CMDs.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we\'re looking for...

You\'ll need to have:

• Bachelor\'s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in Java/ J2EE, Oracle Coherence/Redis cache, Tomcat, WebLogic, iPlanet, ELK stack, New Relic, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, IBM MQs, Rabbit MQs.
• Experience in Designing and coding experience in ExtJs / React JS / Angular.
• Experience in agile software delivery methodologies.
• Experience in developing and optimizing server architectures.
• Experience in SRE practice, DevOps, and automation.
• Experience in working in database and in back-ends (e.g., Oracle, with strong working knowledge of SQL, PL-SQL).
• Experience in working on digital platforms.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A Master\'s degree.
• Experience in building responsive web applications using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, ExtJs/Angular/React and looker platform.
• Knowledge of application security.
• Experience in RPA and bots.
• Certifications in SRE, Cloud technologies, DevOps, Agile.
• Understanding of cloud concepts, DevOps tools and techniques.
• The ability to translate business needs into technical terms.
• The ability to solve complex problems.
• The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and meet critical deadlines.
