We are looking for a Full Stack Java developer with an agile mindset interested in developing financial crime prevention systems.

In Monitoring & Screening Tribe, we are accountable for enabling real-time screening and retrospective monitoring of transactions and trade flows. We support the entire Group and play a central role in Danske Banks' financial crime prevention within Anti Money Laundering, Counterterrorist financing, Sanctions risk mitigation, and Fraud prevention. We are approx. 150 engaged colleagues located in 3 different countries.

We are looking for an additional team member in Bangalore to join the Investigations Screening squad to deliver innovative, cloud-hosted, java based solutions.

You will:

• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, daily development tasks and progress of the area for the Squad to succeed this year in delivering IT solutions to the AML program
• Take full responsibility for solutions (from design to deployment)
• Ensure that architecture all choices are based on best practices and live up to the agility required to continue being best in class
• Continuously develop yourself, your team's capabilities and ways of working
• Represent the project/area in internal forums
• Contribute to the evolution of technology and software development practice stack
• Engage our thinking based on experiences with new technologies
• Self motivated
• Takes initiatives and perform tasks independently with focus on delivering results of high quality

• 6+ years of software development experience using Java technologies
• Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Good coding skills with data structure and algorithms
• Strong hold on SQL
• Experience in working with one of javascript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js)
• Docker and Kubernetes
• DevOps experience
• Messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ or Kafka)
• Good understanding of using REST APIs
• Unit-testing knowledge
• Solid communication skills
• Experience in establishing and improving engineering practices, developing team's competencies
• Experience with the following technologies is a benefit; Openshift, AzureDevOps, RabbitMQ, and other cloud native technologies.
