Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/ Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. Accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. The ideal candidate has experience collaborating and/or managing a team. Accountant duties include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks.

Responsibilities



Maintain and manage the general ledger, journal entries, and chart of accounts Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Communication with other bookkeepers and accounts payable to collect Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements Assist with budgeting and forecasting Coordinate with external accountants or CPAs for audits and tax filings Monitor cash flow and provide regular financial reports to management Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant laws/regulations Maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls Help with compliance for the Indian office

Skills



Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant Able to communicate in English - advanced or fluent speaking Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures Awareness of business trends Familiarity with financial accounting statements Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like QuickBooks, Payroll (Coadvantage), Multiple State Sales Tax, VendorCafe Accuracy and attention to detail Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant Relevant certification will be preferred

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
