What you need to know



Experience working with Astro or similar warehouse management tools.

Familiarity with working in a Distribution Centre (DC).

Proven ability to troubleshoot technical or system issues in a warehouse or logistics environment.

Hands-on experience in implementing or supporting system upgrades, releases, or software installations for warehouse operations.

Ability to train and educate end-users on warehouse systems or IT tools.

Strong analytical skills to evaluate change requests and assess their operational impact and benefits.

Experience managing or supporting hardware configuration, installation, or maintenance in a warehouse setting.

Proficiency in creating or using dashboards in Power BI (or similar tools) to monitor warehouse performance metrics.

Experience in coordinating communication and change management during system updates or new releases.

Confidence in cross-functional collaboration, including working with global or regional teams to align practices.

Experience in developing or maintaining process documents, training materials, and task descriptions for warehouse operations.

What you'll be doing day to day



Provide analytical support for local business plans and In-Warehouse Logistics (IWL) projects, proposing data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency.



Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize working processes and continuously improve warehouse operations.



Ensure smooth daily operations by maintaining warehouse systems, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with Helpdesk for timely incident resolution.



Evaluate and implement system changes and updates, ensuring alignment with Distribution Center (DC) needs and successful change management.



Manage software installations and upgrades across warehouse hardware and support the rollout of new system releases.



Develop and deliver training programs on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ensure proper documentation and working methods are followed.



Create live dashboards using Power BI and other tools to monitor key warehouse metrics and performance indicators.



Act as the main point of contact for assigned IT tools, managing incidents, updates, and communication with end users.



Support logistics setup and range management to assess warehouse capacity and recommend optimal storage solutions.



Collaborate with global DCs to adopt best practices and contribute to continuous improvement in IKEA operations.



Demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills while working cross-functionally to drive operational excellence.
