  • A university degree in Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of leadership experience in logistics, retail, distribution, or a similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of customer fulfilment operations, supply chain methods, and end-to-end processes.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams in a changing environment with a clear commercial focus.
  • Analytical skills to understand budgets, costs, and key performance indicators.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships, collaborate across functions, and coach others.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • A passion for the IKEA vision, culture, and values, with the drive to deliver sustainable and customer-focused results.
Key responsibilities (title) Your responsibilities
Key responsibilities (text) As a Fulfilment Operations Manager, you will lead the daily running of the fulfilment unit operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and customer-focused process at the lowest possible cost. In this role, you will:
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Fulfilment Operations team to secure high performance, engagement, and competence development.
  • Take responsibility for operational excellence across inbound, replenishment, outbound, and service execution processes.
  • Secure efficiency, implement improvements, and introduce new operational processes and technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Fulfilment Integration team, unit management, support functions, and external partners to ensure goods availability and timely customer order fulfilment.
  • Ensure compliance with IKEA's Code of Conduct, relevant Standard Operating Procedures, and health, safety, security, and environmental regulations.
  • Drive the implementation of the Customer Fulfilment sustainability agenda within unit operations.
  • Build a culture of equality, diversity, inclusion, and well-being while securing succession planning and a strong performance culture.
  • Manage operations with flexibility, speed, and simplicity to deliver seamless shopping experiences and great customer value.
