What you'll need to have



You have a background in logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent relevant experience.

Minimum 2-4 years of leadership experience in distribution, retail, and logistics.


You have the ability to lead, inspire, and engage the team in a changing environment with a commercial focus, balancing operations, efficiency, and profitability.

You have analytical skills in understanding budget, cost, and key performance measurements used to plan, follow up, and steer the business and work on plans over several years.

Experience in applying tactical and operational thinking and implementing action plans, providing clear direction, and following up on goals.

Experience working with others, setting priorities, delegating responsibility, and giving open and honest feedback

Fluent in English, both written and verbal

What you need to know



Strong grasp of key performance metrics for planning, follow-up, and business steering

Deep understanding of unit operations and influencing factors

Skilled in adapting leadership styles to suit diverse situations and team needs

Solid knowledge of forecasting, range management, stock accuracy, and sales steering

Clear understanding of cross-functional collaboration and its impact on integration quality and customer experience

Proficient in supply chain methods and processes aligned with IKEA units and business partners

Expert in standard operating procedures and integration guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance

Agile mindset with ability to adapt workflows to varied sales scenarios

Well-versed in the IKEA Concept, Brand Identity, and Culture & Values
