FUEL TANKER DRIVER

Hazardous Materials (H) - LICENCE REQUIRED.

2+ YEARS OF EXPERINCE REQUIRED

Vehicle Operation & Safety:

Operate a fuel tanker truck to transport fuel, following all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies.

Pre-Trip & Post-Trip Inspections:

Conduct thorough daily pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy and safe, and report any issues to the supervisor.

Loading & Unloading:

Safely load fuel from a distribution center and unload it at the designated delivery locations.

Compliance:

Adhere strictly to local, state, and federal regulations for transporting hazardous materials like fuel.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including fuel quantities, meter counts, consumption, and all necessary paperwork.

Communication:

Coordinate with dispatchers, supervisors, and other drivers to manage routes and delivery schedules effectively.

Customer Service:

Maintain professional communication with clients, informing them about delivery status.
