Job Description

:

The FRP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all activities related to the fabrication, trimming, finishing, and installation of FRP components used in EVs such as golf carts. This includes managing the FRP team, ensuring part quality, optimizing production processes, and coordinating with design and assembly departments for smooth integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily FRP operations including mold preparation, lay-up, curing, demolding, trimming, and surface finishing. Ensure FRP parts meet design specifications, strength requirements, and surface finish standards. Manage inventory of resins, catalysts, glass fiber, gel coats, and tools. Implement quality checks at each stage of FRP production. Coordinate with design and assembly teams for accurate panel fitment on vehicles. Maintain molds and ensure they are cleaned, stored, and handled correctly. Train and guide the FRP team on safety, efficiency, and workmanship. Maintain a safe and organized working environment with proper ventilation and PPE usage.

Skills Required:

Strong understanding of FRP processes: hand lay-up, curing cycles, etc. Knowledge of mold handling, fiberglass materials, resins, and catalysts. Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings or panel designs. Team management, problem-solving, and process optimization skills. Familiarity with surface preparation, sanding, and gel coat application. Strong awareness of health and safety practices in FRP work.

. 3-6 years of hands-on experience in FRP component manufacturing or composite fabrication. Prior supervisory experience in FRP or composite fabrication is highly preferred.
