The Frozen Section Head is responsible for managing and supervising all operations related to the frozen foods section. This role ensures efficient production, strict adherence to food safety and quality standards, optimal manpower utilization, and achievement of production targets while maintaining cost control.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and supervise daily frozen section production activities.
Ensure production targets are met as per the production plan.
Maintain quality standards in line with company policies, FSSAI, and food safety norms.
Monitor freezing processes, storage temperatures, and cold chain management.
Ensure proper handling, packaging, and storage of frozen products.
Manage and train production staff, including shift allocation and performance monitoring.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch departments.
Minimize wastage, control yield loss, and improve process efficiency.
Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards.
Handle breakdowns or process issues and take corrective actions.
Support audits and inspections (internal and external).
