WHAT YOU WILL DO
We are looking for a
Front-End / UI Lead
to design, develop, and maintain
highly interactive, data-intensive web applications
for life sciences manufacturing and laboratory environments.
This role combines
hands-on development, technical leadership, and UX/UI design ownership
while ensuring that all solutions meet
compliance, accessibility, and enterprise-grade standards
. You will lead a small frontend team in long term, define patterns and best practices, and collaborate closely with product and backend teams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical Leadership
Lead the frontend team (long term) and guide implementation of
Angular-based complex web applications
Define
component architecture, state management (NgRx, services), and reusable UI libraries
Review code, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers
Make key technical decisions around
frontend frameworks, tools, and integrations
UI / UX Development
Design and implement
dynamic dashboards, forms, and workflow-driven screens
Build
role-based, secure, and responsive interfaces
Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and enterprise UX guidelines
Collaborate with Product and UX designers to translate requirements into functional UI components
Integration & Collaboration
Partner with Backend and Platform teams to consume
REST/GraphQL APIs
Collaborate with DevOps / QA teams to ensure
stable and validated deployments
Support hybrid and regulated environment requirements (audit logs, data traceability in UI)
Provide frontend perspective on release planning and sprint estimation
Process & Quality
Establish coding standards, linting, and automated frontend testing (unit & E2E)
Document UI components, patterns, and workflows for future scalability
Implement CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployment
Ensure maintainability and performance in high-volume data applications
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Experience
Minimum of 8 years in front-end / UI development
Minimum 3 years leading front-end teams or driving technical UI decisions
Education
B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science / IT / Design
Equivalent hands-on experience acceptable
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
Frontend
Angular (10+)
, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, CSS3 / SCSS
Complex form-driven and dynamic UI patterns
State management:
NgRx, services, or similar
Responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
UI libraries: Angular Material or similar component frameworks
Integration
REST APIs and GraphQL integration
Authentication & role-based access control
WebSocket or real-time data display experience
Tooling & Dev Practices
Git-based source control and branching strategies
Unit testing (Jasmine/Karma) and E2E testing (Cypress/Protractor)
Build tooling (Angular CLI, Webpack)
CI/CD pipelines for frontend releases
Soft Skills
Strong ownership and leadership mindset
Ability to translate
complex domain requirements
into intuitive UI
Clear communication with global, cross-functional teams
Pragmatic problem-solving in a fast-paced startup environment
MES, LES, or LIMS product experience
GxP / 21 CFR Part 11 understanding
Building UI for traceable and auditable workflows
