The Frontend Technical Lead is responsible for defining front-end architecture, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability of web applications built using Vue.js. This role requires deep technical expertise combined with leadership, mentorship, and strong collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance front-end architectures using Vue.js.
Establish best practices for component-based development and reusable UI systems.
Drive front-end performance optimization for fast load times and smooth user experiences.
Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility across devices.
Collaborate with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services (optional) & WebSockets.
Integrate third-party SDKs and resolve complex technical challenges arising from integrations.
Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and improve development workflows.
Mentor and guide front-end developers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
Communicate technical progress, risks, and solutions to stakeholders.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in Vue.js (preferably Vue 3) and its ecosystem (Vuex, Pinia, Vue Router, Nuxt.js).
Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and CSS frameworks (Tailwind, SCSS).
Experience with front-end architecture patterns and scalable UI design.
Familiarity with performance and build tools such as Lighthouse, Vite, and Webpack.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern frontend tooling.
Experience & Qualifications
4+ years of front-end development experience with significant hands-on Vue.js exposure.
Experience designing and architecting large-scale front-end applications.
Prior experience in a lead or senior frontend role is highly preferred.
Leadership & Collaboration Competencies
Strong mentoring and team leadership capabilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, backend engineers, and product teams.
Clear and confident communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
