Responsibilities:

This is an exciting role and would entail you to

Web Development:

Undertake web development to code and maintain responsive websites, develop web applications using modern programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.

Front-end Development:

Develop, maintain, and manage high-performing WordPress websites and applications using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Design, develop, and customize WordPress themes and plugins from concept to completion using PHP to add new features and functionalities.

Back-End Integration:

Integrate front-end interfaces with back-end databases, APIs, and other systems to create dynamic and data-driven web applications.

Cross-functional collaboration:

Collaborate with designers, UX/UI specialists, senior web developers, project managers and other team members to translate visual designs and user requirements into functional web solutions.

Code optimization:

Write efficient, clean, and scalable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices for performance and maintainability.

Testing and Debugging:

Perform thorough testing and debugging of web applications to identify and fix any issues or bugs, ensuring a smooth user experience.

Responsive Design:

Ensure that websites and applications are optimized for various screen sizes and devices, providing a consistent user experience.

Security Measures:

Implement security best practices to safeguard websites and applications against potential vulnerabilities and threats.

Performance Optimization:

Optimize website and application performance for faster loading times and smoother interactions.

Version Control:

Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code changes, collaborate with team members, and maintain codebase history.

Technical Documentation:

Create and maintain documentation for code, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability.

Continuous Learning:

Stay up to date on the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies to contribute innovative ideas and approaches to projects

You will be working closely with


Our global creative agency teams. You will also be closely collaborating with our team of talented and designers to deliver high-quality services.


Qualifications:
Proven work experience (4 to 8 years) as a WordPress or PHP/WordPress developer B.E. / B.Tech. in computer science or related qualification Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and good-to-have knowledge in frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular or Vue.js). Solid understanding of responsive design principles and experience in developing mobile-first, cross-browser compatible web applications. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration workflows. Familiarity with back-end technologies and ability to collaborate effectively with back-end developers. Good understanding of user design thinking Experience building web interfaces with accessibility in mind Experience working with remote teams * Experience with agile methodology and processes
