We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Junior/Mid-Level Web Developer and Designer

with 1-2 years of professional experience. This role focuses on the design, development, customization, and maintenance of our client websites, primarily utilizing

WordPress

and

WooCommerce

. The ideal candidate possesses a strong command of foundational web languages and practical experience modifying themes, integrating dynamic front-end features, and working with PHP-based content management systems.

Key Responsibilities

WordPress Development:

Develop, customize, and maintain high-quality WordPress websites, ensuring optimal functionality, security, and performance.

E-commerce Implementation:

Customize and manage

WooCommerce

installations, including theme customization, payment gateway integration, and resolving complex e-commerce issues.

Front-End Implementation:

Write clean, semantic

HTML

and efficient

CSS

to achieve responsive and visually appealing designs based on provided mockups.

Dynamic Features:

Implement client-side interactivity using

jQuery

and

AJAX

techniques to enhance user experience without page reloads.

PHP & Laravel Integration:

Modify existing WordPress theme and plugin PHP code and leverage basic knowledge of

Laravel

to understand and contribute to back-end logic, API interactions, or custom plugin development when necessary.

Maintenance & Optimization:

Troubleshoot and fix bugs, ensure cross-browser compatibility, and optimize site speed and loading times.

Theme Customization:

Deeply customize third-party themes (child themes) and develop custom themes from scratch.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

1-2 years of hands-on professional experience in web development or a similar technical role.

CMS Mastery:

Proven expertise in

WordPress

, including core settings, user management, and custom post types.

E-commerce Focus:

Strong practical experience with

WooCommerce

for product management, checkout flow customization, and extensions.

Front-End Core:

Expert knowledge of

HTML5

and

CSS3

(including responsive design principles).

Scripting:

Proficiency with

JavaScript

jQuery

, and implementing

AJAX

for asynchronous content updates.

Back-End Fundamentals:

Working knowledge of

PHP

for WordPress theme and plugin manipulation, and a basic understanding of the

framework concepts (MVC architecture).

Version Control:
