Job Title: Front-End Architect (React / Angular)



Experience: 12-15 years



Location: Pune

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, high-performance, and user-centric web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (React or Angular), front-end architecture design, UI/UX best practices, and a solid understanding of integration with back-end services and DevOps processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Leadership:



Define and own the front-end architecture roadmap, ensuring scalability, performance, maintainability, and security across all applications.



Technical Design:



Design modular, reusable, and optimized UI components using React.js, Next.js, Angular, or similar frameworks.



Define component libraries, micro front-end strategies, and shared UI frameworks for cross-project consistency.



Collaboration:



Partner with Product Owners, UX Designers, Backend Architects, and DevOps teams to define and deliver end-to-end solutions.



Code Quality & Governance:



Enforce coding standards, design patterns (e.g., MVVM, Redux, Flux, or NgRx), and ensure adherence to best practices through code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.



Performance Optimization:



Identify performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and render inefficiencies; implement optimizations like lazy loading, code splitting, caching, and CDN usage.



Security & Compliance:



Integrate secure coding practices--implement CSP, XSS prevention, and OWASP guidelines for front-end applications.



Tooling & Automation:



Evaluate, recommend, and integrate front-end build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, and ESLint, and establish automated testing pipelines using Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.



Mentorship & Guidance:



Coach and mentor front-end engineers, conduct technical sessions, and drive continuous improvement in development processes.



Integration Expertise:



Work closely with backend teams using RESTful APIs, ensure smooth data exchange, and optimize API consumption patterns.



DevOps & CI/CD Integration:



Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end code in pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

Technical Skills & Competencies:

Core Front-End Technologies:



Expert in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript



Deep experience with React.js (Hooks, Context API, Redux Toolkit) or Angular 10+ (RxJS, NgRx, Dependency Injection)

Architecture & Design:

Experience in Micro Front-End Architecture, Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and Single Page Application (SPA) design



Proficiency in component-driven architecture and design systems (e.g., Storybook, Material UI, Tailwind, Chakra UI)

Performance & Optimization:

Strong understanding of Lighthouse, Web Vitals, and performance monitoring tools



Knowledge of lazy loading, bundle optimization, and progressive rendering

Testing & Quality Assurance:

Hands-on with Jest, Enzyme, Cypress, Playwright, and React Testing Library



Experience in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing

Version Control & CI/CD:

Proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, GitHub, and automated pipelines



Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments

Security & Accessibility:

Implementing WCAG standards, ARIA roles, and a11y best practices



Understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities in front-end applications

Other Desirable Skills:

Exposure to Node.js, Next.js, or NestJS for full-stack capability



Knowledge of Cloud-native front-end deployment (Azure, AWS, or GCP)



Familiarity with Design Thinking and Agile methodologies

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field



Proven track record in delivering enterprise-grade front-end solutions



Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills



Front end Certifications - Meta Front-End Developer Professional Certificate / Microsoft Front-End Developer Professional Certificate:



Front-End Web Developer Nanodegree (Udacity / Coursera)
