In this role, you'll be instrumental in building fast, interactive and high-performance web applications that incorporate the best user experience patterns and technologies available. With a keen eye for pixel-perfect detail, you'll ensure each user interaction is seamless and intuitive by combining your understanding given requirements and wireframes. We are seeking a Frontend Architect to own the design and development of scalable, high-performance, and secure web applications in support of Apple's global business operations. This role requires hands-on technical expertise with React.js, TypeScript, and Vite, as well as the leadership skills to drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate across functions and geographies. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering frontend solutions for enterprise-scale systems, working closely with product, design, backend, and infrastructure teams. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, technically strong, and passionate about building elegant, composable UIs and platforms.

Description

Architect frontend systems using React, TypeScript, and modern tooling (Vite, ESLint, Jest, etc.). Build reusable component libraries and design systems. Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, backend engineers, and UX teams. Lead and mentor frontend engineers. Guide frontend release planning, testing strategy , and CI/CD integration. Partner with stakeholders globally . Continuously explore new frontend technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of experience in front-end engineering experience, with 3+years in architecture role Expertise in React.js, Typescript, Redux/Context API and Vite Experience with scalable architecture, micro frontends, SSR/SSG (Next.js). Deep understanding of performance, accessibility and responsive design Strong mentorship and communication skills Bachelors or Masters in Computer science, Engineering or related field

Preferred Qualifications

Full Stack Development - Experience with backend technologies such as Java and Spring Boot is a strong plus, especially for understanding full request lifecycles and contributing to BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) patterns. BS or MS degree in computer science or information management Excellent analytical and quantitative skills Experience in working in a large enterprise, with a global environment, across multiple timezones and geographies Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to multi-task To be successful you are self-motivated; driven to achieve and go above and beyond Attention to detail Comfortable working in a loosely structured organization
