The Front Office Supervisor plays a key leadership role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's front desk. This position is responsible for supervising daily activities, maintaining guest service standards, and supporting front office staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest services.
Ensure all guest interactions are handled in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
Train, coach, and support front desk staff to uphold brand standards and deliver excellent service.
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly, escalating as necessary.
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs.
Monitor daily shift operations and ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
Assist with staff scheduling, timekeeping, and performance evaluations.
Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing, and reports.
Promote upselling of rooms and hotel services to maximize revenue.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a front office or guest service role; supervisory experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
