Job Description

Job Summary:



The Front Office Executive serves as the first point of contact for patients, attendants, and visitors in the hospital. The role involves managing patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing coordination, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and various hospital departments. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a customer-oriented approach, and the ability to handle multiple administrative tasks efficiently in a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Patient Interaction & Reception Management



Greet patients and visitors courteously and provide prompt assistance. Handle patient registration, admission, and discharge formalities. Provide information about hospital services, consultants, and schedules. Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

2. Appointment & Scheduling



Schedule and confirm appointments for patients. Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and diagnostic departments for timely service. Manage walk-in patients and emergency cases as per hospital protocol.

3. Billing & Documentation



Generate and maintain patient billing and receipts accurately. Collect payments and issue invoices as per hospital procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the hospital management system (HMS).

4. Communication & Coordination



Respond to phone calls, emails, and inquiries courteously and professionally. Liaise with medical, nursing, and support staff to ensure efficient service delivery. Handle patient complaints or escalate them to the concerned authority when necessary.

5. Administrative Support



Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front office and waiting area. Manage courier, incoming/outgoing mail, and internal communication. Assist with daily reports, data entry, and office inventory management.

Qualifications & Experience:



Education:

Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Hospitality, Administration, or Healthcare Management).

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in front office or customer service, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setup.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office and Hospital Information Systems (HIS/HMS).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
