Job Description

Front Office Handling: Greeting patients, managing check-ins/check-outs, handling insurance queries, and using hospital .

Telecom Operations: Answering multi-line phone systems, routing calls efficiently, managing voicemail, and using telecom tools like PBX systems or VoIP for high-volume hospital lines.

Hindi Language Proficiency: Fluent spoken and written Hindi (mandatory); ability to handle patient interactions in Hindi-English bilingual mode. Bonus: Basic knowledge of regional dialects if your hospital serves a specific area.

Basic Computer Skills: MS Office (Word, Excel for patient records), email etiquette, and familiarity with digital calendars (e.g., Google Workspace or Outlook).

Soft Skills and Behavioral Traits

Communication & Empathy: Clear verbal/written communication, active listening, and a calm, reassuring demeanor--crucial for dealing with anxious patients or emergencies over the phone.

Multitasking & Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple calls, walk-ins, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced hospital front desk.

Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making for issues like appointment rescheduling or directing urgent calls to doctors.

Team Player: Collaborative attitude to coordinate with nurses, doctors, and admin staff.

Education and Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in any field (e.g., BBA, B.Com, or Hospitality Management) or Diploma in Medical Office Administration. Freshers from relevant courses preferred.

Experience: 0-1 years in customer service, reception, or call center roles (hospital or clinic exposure is a plus but not mandatory).

Other Preferences

Age & Availability: 20-30 years old, willing to work in shifts (including evenings/weekends) as hospitals operate 24/7.

Personal Attributes: Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance; strong ethics for handling sensitive patient data.
