The Front Office Executive is responsible for delivering excellent guest service at the front desk. This role involves welcoming guests, handling check-in and check-out procedures, managing reservations, answering guest inquiries, and ensuring a pleasant stay experience in line with hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner
Handle guest check-in and check-out efficiently
Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications
Answer phone calls, emails, and guest queries promptly
Maintain accurate guest records and billing information
Handle cash, card payments, and prepare daily reports
Coordinate with housekeeping for room status updates
Address guest complaints and resolve issues politely and effectively
Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
Ensure front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable
Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and service standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Hotel Management or relevant field (preferred)
Previous experience in a hotel front office is an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good command of English (additional languages are a plus)
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hotel management software
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Friendly, well-groomed, and customer-focused attitude
Working Conditions
Shift duty including night shifts, weekends, and holidays
Standing for extended periods
Direct interaction with guests and hotel staff
