Job Description

Front Office Receptionist - Roles & Responsibilities



1. Guest/Patient Reception & Assistance



Greet visitors, patients, and clients with courtesy and professionalism. Provide accurate information and guide them to the appropriate department or staff member. Ensure a welcoming and comfortable front desk environment at all times.

2. Call Handling & Communication



Manage incoming calls promptly and route them to the concerned team. Respond to queries with clarity and politeness. Maintain proper call logs when required.

3. Appointment Management



Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments. Coordinate with doctors/teams regarding daily schedules. Ensure smooth flow of patient visits without delays.

4. Front Desk Administration



Maintain visitor/patient registration records accurately. Handle check-in and check-out procedures. Ensure all necessary forms and documents are provided and collected.

5. Billing & Payments (If applicable)



Assist in generating invoices and processing payments. Ensure all payments are made against official receipts. Maintain basic cash handling records.

6. Clean & Organized Front Desk



Ensure the front desk area is neat, presentable, and professional. Manage stock of front desk stationery and supplies.

7. Coordination with Internal Teams



Communicate patient flow and important updates to staff and management. Support day-to-day operational coordination between departments.

8. Confidentiality & Professional Conduct



Handle all patient and organisational information with strict confidentiality. Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude at all times. Follow all organisational policies and code of conduct.

9. Customer Service & Issue Resolution



Address concerns or complaints politely and escalate to management if required. Ensure every customer/patient receives courteous and reliable service.

10. Additional Responsibilities



Assist management with administrative tasks as needed. Participate in team meetings, training, and process improvement activities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
