Position Overview:The Front Office Coordinator at Dr .Aravind"s IVF and fertility centre is a vital member of the administrative team responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. This role serves as the first point of contact, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience in the hospital\'s front office. Key Responsibilities: Patient Registration:Greet and assist patients and their families with the registration process.
Verify patient information, insurance details, and other necessary documentation.
Provide assistance in completing necessary forms and paperwork. Appointment Scheduling:Manage the scheduling of patient appointments and coordinate with various departments.
Confirm appointments and provide necessary information to patients. Communication:Answer incoming calls, provide information, and transfer calls to the appropriate departments.
Respond to inquiries from patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
Communicate effectively with medical staff and other departments. Check-In and Check-Out Procedures:Ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process for patients.
Collect co-payments, verify insurance details, and provide receipts as necessary. Patient Relations:Address patient concerns, inquiries, and complaints promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
Maintain a positive and empathetic approach in patient interactions. Administrative Support:Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing patient records.
Assist with the coordination of hospital events, programs, and initiatives. Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a front office or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance procedures, and healthcare regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
