Greet patients, attendants, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Handle patient registration, demographic data entry, and appointment scheduling
Manage OPD/IPD desk operations and guide patients to respective departments
Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
Verify patient documents, insurance details, and referral slips (if applicable)
Collect consultation fees and generate receipts/bills
Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and diagnostic departments for patient flow
Maintain and update patient records in HIS/EMR systems
Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and hospital policies
Handle patient queries, feedback, and basic complaints professionally
Maintain front office cleanliness and organised records
Assist in discharge formalities and follow-up appointment scheduling
Required Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patient-friendly and empathetic attitude
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Hospital Management Software)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational and coordination skills
Knowledge of healthcare processes is an added advantage
Educational Qualification
Graduate / Diploma in any discipline
Certification in Healthcare Administration (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience
1-3 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or diagnostic centre preferred
Freshers with good communication skills may also apply
