Front Office Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day Front Office operations including Reception, Reservations, Guest Services, Bell Desk, and Night Audit
  • Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes as per hotel SOPs
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and handle guest complaints professionally
  • Train, supervise, schedule, and motivate front office staff
  • Monitor room inventory, occupancy levels, and coordinate with Reservations & Sales
  • Ensure accuracy of guest billing, cash handling, and front office reports
  • Maintain lobby and reception area standards
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, and other departments
  • Upsell hotel rooms, services, and amenities
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and audit standards
Candidate Profile
Education:
  • Graduate / Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality (preferred)
Experience:
  • 3-6 years of experience in Front Office Operations
  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Experience in a 4-Star or 5-Star hotel preferred
Skills Required:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Guest-oriented mindset with problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of PMS (Opera or similar systems preferred)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in English; Hindi/Gujarati preferred
