Job Summary:
Shila Heritage Resort is seeking an experienced and service-oriented
Front Office Manager
to lead our front desk operations at our Sakleshpur property. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven background in hospitality with at least 4-5 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily front office operations including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and concierge services
Train, schedule, and manage front office staff to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction
Handle guest concerns and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
Maintain communication with housekeeping, F&B, and other departments for seamless operations
Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
Prepare and review reports related to occupancy, revenue, and staff performance
Uphold the brand standards and maintain a welcoming environment for guests
Oversee cash handling, billing, and POS systems
Requirements:
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a front office role, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial or supervisory position
Strong knowledge of hotel front office systems (PMS), customer service, and staff management
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Professional appearance and behavior
Willingness to stay on-property and commit to long-term growth with the company
Preferably from a hospitality background with a degree or diploma in Hotel Management
