2. Staff Supervision & Training
Supervise front desk staff (receptionists, concierge, bell desk, etc.).
Schedule staff shifts and manage daily staffing needs.
Train new employees on procedures and service standards.
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback.
3. Front Office Operations
Manage the daily operations of the front desk.
Ensure smooth reservation, registration, and room assignment processes.
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments.
Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the front office area.
4. Administration & Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly front office reports.
Monitor occupancy levels, room rates, and revenue.
Keep records of guest information, invoices, and payments.
Handle cash management and billing accuracy.
5. Communication & Coordination
Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.
Ensure timely communication of guest needs or issues.
Coordinate with the sales and marketing team for promotions and events.
6. Customer Service Excellence
Promote a welcoming environment.
Resolve conflicts or issues efficiently.
Maintain high hospitality standards and brand image.
7. Security & Safety
Ensure guest privacy and data protection.
Follow hotel safety procedures and emergency plans.
Monitor security systems and entry logs.
8. Technology & Systems
Manage front office software (PMS - Property Management Systems).
Train staff in using booking and billing systems.
Ensure all technical equipment at the front desk is functioning.
