  • Greeting guests and checking them in
  • Processing payments
  • Handling guest requests and complaints
  • Providing information about the hotel and its amenities
  • Answering phones and directing calls
  • Making reservations
  • Handling lost and found items
  • Balancing cash drawers
  • Completing paperwork
  • Assisting with other front office tasks as needed
Skills and Qualifications Front office receptionists should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should also be able to work independently and as part of a team. Additionally, they should be proficient in using a variety of computer software programs. Education A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required for front office receptionist positions.
