Front Office Manager
is the face of our hospitality -- responsible for ensuring that every arrival, stay, and departure reflects the warmth, elegance, and service excellence that define the Ritumbhara experience.
This leadership role oversees the Reception, Concierge, Bell Desk, and Guest Relations teams, ensuring seamless coordination, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency at all times.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Service Excellence
Lead all Front Office operations to deliver a world-class guest experience from check-in to check-out.
Anticipate and fulfill guest needs with empathy, discretion, and personalized attention.
Manage VIP and repeat guest experiences, ensuring high satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Handle guest concerns promptly, turning service challenges into memorable experiences.
Ensure all team members consistently uphold Ritumbhara's hospitality standards.
Team Leadership & Development
Supervise and inspire the Front Office team, fostering a culture of courtesy, accountability, and service passion.
Conduct regular training sessions, grooming programs, and performance evaluations.
Empower staff to make guest-centric decisions while ensuring compliance with SOPs.
Lead by example with a positive, approachable, and professional demeanor.
Operational & Financial Management
Oversee room inventory management, rate optimization, and coordination with the Sales and Revenue teams.
Monitor departmental budgets, expenses, and payroll to ensure financial efficiency.
Prepare and review daily reports -- occupancy, revenue, ADR, guest feedback, and forecast metrics.
Maintain accurate guest billing, reservation records, and financial controls.
Technology & Systems
Ensure optimal use of the Property Management System (PMS) and guest service tools.
Maintain data integrity across guest profiles, bookings, and financial records.
Coordinate with IT and Finance teams to ensure seamless system performance.
Coordination & Communication
Collaborate with Housekeeping, F&B, Security, and Engineering to ensure smooth guest operations.
Represent the Front Office in management meetings and contribute to operational planning.
Communicate daily performance, feedback, and opportunities for improvement to leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management or related discipline.
Minimum
2 years of experience
in Front Office operations, with
at least 1 year in a managerial role
at a 4 or 5-star property.
Proficiency in PMS software (Opera, IDS, AsiaTech or similar) and Microsoft Office.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
Fluent in English and Hindi; additional languages are an asset.
Exceptional grooming and presentation aligned with Ritumbhara brand standards.
