The Front Office In charge oversees the daily operations of the hotel's front desk, guest services. This role ensures that guests receive exceptional service from arrival to departure while maintaining efficient front office and housekeeping operations, staffing schedules, and performance standards.
Must have experience in front desk for at least 02 years, and fair knowledge about online revenue generating channels, both direct and indirect, CRS/CRM and manage online sales efficiently across many booking channels (OTAs)
Key Responsibilities Guest Services
Ensure high-quality guest service and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
Oversee check-in and check-out procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Greet VIP guests, coordinate special requests, and ensure personalized service.
Operations Management
Supervise and manage front desk staff, bell desk, concierge, and night audit teams.
Review daily occupancy, room rates, and revenue reports; coordinate with revenue management.
Monitor lobby appearance and overall front office environment to maintain brand standards.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Staff Management
Recruit, train, and coach front office employees.
Prepare staff schedules and manage labour costs.
Conduct performance evaluations and maintain professional development plans.
Financial & Administrative Duties
Manage front office budgets, forecasts, and departmental reports.
Oversee billing, credit management, and cash-handling procedures.
Resolve discrepancies in guest accounts and coordinate with accounting.
Verification of documentation and folders of residing guests including night audit.
Coordination and monitoring of all departments functioning during night hours, especially security & maintenance.
Control of housekeeping staff to get prepared for the following day.
To address and resolve any complaints from the guests.
Ensure timely and accurate customer service.
Handle complaints and specific customers' requests.
*Manage and coordinate all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
*Develop budgets, forecast revenue, manage expenses, and set sales targets to ensure the hotel's profitability.
*Ensure guests have a positive experience by addressing complaints, resolving issues, and upholding high standards of service and cleanliness.
*Fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with hotel policies.
*Develop and implement strategic goals for the hotel, which can include marketing, revenue management, and service improvement.
Pay : Rs 20000- Rs25000 per month
