The Front Office Executive is responsible for welcoming patients, managing registrations, handling inquiries, coordinating with departments, and ensuring smooth front desk operations while maintaining excellent patient service standards.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors courteously and guide them appropriately
Handle patient registration, appointment scheduling, and token management
Manage OPD/IP patient entries and update records in HIS/HMIS system
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, and other departments
Handle patient queries, complaints, and provide accurate information
Maintain front desk registers, patient files, and daily reports
Collect and verify patient documents and insurance details (if applicable)
Handle phone calls, emails, and internal communication professionally
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and confidentiality norms
Maintain cleanliness and discipline at the front office area
Skills & Competencies:
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, HIS software)
Customer service and patient-handling skills
Ability to work under pressure and multitask
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Qualification & Experience:
Minimum: Graduate / Intermediate (preferred)
Experience: 2 -3 years in hospital front office / customer service
Freshers with good communication skills can be considered
