The Front Office Executive is the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The role involves patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing coordination, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and hospital departments while maintaining a courteous and professional approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors in a polite and professional manner
Register OPD and IP patients accurately in the hospital system
Schedule and manage doctor appointments and follow-ups
Guide patients regarding departments, procedures, and services
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, and insurance teams
Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
Manage admission, discharge, and transfer formalities
Collect payments, issue receipts, and coordinate with billing department
Maintain accurate patient records and front office documentation
Answer telephone calls and manage internal communication
Ensure front office area is clean, organized, and presentable
Follow hospital policies, confidentiality, and patient safety norms
Qualification & Experience:
Any Graduate / Diploma (Healthcare Management preferred)
0-3 years of experience in hospital front office or healthcare setup
Freshers with good communication skills may apply
Skills & Competencies:
Good communication skills (Tamil & English preferred)
Pleasant personality and patient-friendly attitude
Basic computer knowledge (HIS, MS Office)
Ability to handle pressure and multitask
Problem-solving and coordination skills

As per hospital norms and experience
