The Front Office Executive serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. They are responsible for managing the front desk, handling patient queries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth administrative operations in the reception area.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally
Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures
Answer and route phone calls to appropriate departments
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments
Maintain patient records and update information in the hospital system (HIS)
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments for smooth operations
Handle billing inquiries and guide patients regarding services
Collect payments and issue receipts, if required
Maintain cleanliness and order at the front desk area
Address patient concerns and escalate issues to supervisors if needed
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and confidentiality standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree or Diploma (Any Stream)
Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
Proficient in MS Office and Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-focused with a calm and friendly demeanor
Ability to handle stressful situations and multitask
