Front Office Executive (receptionist)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced receptionist to take care of inbound calls, Manage front desk and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Communication:

Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and courteously. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain clear and effective communication with guests and staff.

Guest Services:

Oversee all front office operations to ensure smooth and efficient service. Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out processes. Address and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally. Ensure that all guest requests and inquiries are handled efficiently.

Billing and Reservations:

Manage reservations and ensure accurate recording and confirmation of bookings. Oversee billing processes for both the resort and restaurant, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Utilize and manage billing software for both the resort and restaurant operations.

Team Leadership:

Train, supervise, and motivate front office staff to deliver excellent service. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss updates, challenges, and improvements. Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage at all times.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain positive relationships with guests to enhance their experience. Collect guest feedback and implement improvements based on their suggestions. Develop and maintain a database of regular guests and their preferences.

Administrative Duties:

Prepare and present reports on front office activities, occupancy rates, and guest feedback. Manage budgets and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effective operations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications:



Education:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Location:

Candidate must be based in or willing to relocate to Chennai.

Language:

Fluency in English and Tamil is essential.
