The Admission Executive plays a key role in managing the student admission process through both in-person and telephonic interactions. This position combines strong communication, telesales, and customer service skills to provide accurate information, address queries, and guide students and parents toward successful enrollment.
Key Responsibilities:
Inquiry Handling & Telesales:
Conduct inbound and outbound calls to prospective students and parents. Follow up on leads generated through various channels to achieve admission targets.
Walk-in Assistance:
Greet and assist walk-in visitors, offering professional and courteous guidance throughout the admission process.
Program Knowledge:
Maintain thorough knowledge of the institute's programs, courses, faculty, and hostel facilities to present them effectively to potential students.
Information & Documentation:
Maintain updated FAQs, manage student databases, and ensure all admission documents and records are accurate and complete.
Counselling & Conversion:
Understand student needs, provide course recommendations, and use persuasive communication to convert inquiries into admissions.
Financial Discussions:
Clearly explain the fee structure, scholarships, and payment options, ensuring transparency and trust.
Payment Handling:
Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain financial records accurately.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in telesales, admissions, or customer service.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/student management systems.
