We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact at our hospital. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a warm demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and helpful manner
Handle incoming phone calls, route them appropriately, and take messages when needed
Schedule patient appointments and manage appointment calendar
Register patients, verify insurance details, and collect necessary documentation
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations
Coordinate with various hospital departments for smooth patient flow
Manage the front desk area, ensure cleanliness and availability of necessary materials
Handle billing queries or direct them to the billing department
Maintain daily logs, visitor records, and patient intake forms
Respond to general inquiries regarding hospital services, hours, and procedures
