The Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This role ensures a professional, welcoming environment while managing patient appointments, inquiries, and guiding them to the appropriate departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients, attendants, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Manage patient registration, appointment scheduling, and follow-up coordination.
Answer and route phone calls promptly and provide accurate information.
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
Coordinate with various departments for smooth patient flow.
Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and escalate issues when required.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate in any discipline.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a hospital/healthcare front office role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Hospital Management Software preferred).
Pleasant personality and customer service orientation.
