The Front Office Executive is responsible for managing patient interactions, maintaining a welcoming environment, and ensuring smooth coordination between patients and hospital departments. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and attendants in a professional and courteous manner.
Handle patient registration, admission, and discharge processes accurately.
Maintain and update patient records in the hospital management system.
Manage appointment scheduling for consultants and ensure timely coordination.
Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and provide information about hospital services.
Collect payments, prepare receipts, and coordinate with the billing department.
Ensure all front office areas are neat, organized, and patient-friendly.
Coordinate with nursing, billing, laboratory, and other departments for patient needs.
Manage emergency or priority cases efficiently and inform the concerned departments.
Handle complaints and escalate issues to the Front Office In-Charge or Administrator.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Graduate (preferably in Hospitality, Management, or Healthcare).
Experience:
1-3 years in hospital front office or customer service role.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good computer knowledge (MS Office, Hospital Management Software)
Ability to multitask and handle pressure situations
Pleasant personality and professional behavior
