Core Responsibilities
?The role is a blend of hospitality, guest relations, and administrative coordination.

Guest Lifecycle Management:
Handling the end-to-end guest experience, including welcoming arrivals, verifying IDs (mandatory per local regulations), assigning rooms, and managing the check-out process.
?Reservation & Inventory: Managing room bookings via phone, email, and Online Travel Agencies (OTAs). You must maintain an accurate "Room Status" to prevent overbooking during peak industrial seasons.

Billing & Concierge:
Processing payments, handling foreign exchange (if the hotel is authorized), and managing petty cash. You will also arrange local transport (e.g., to the railway station or nearby industrial areas like Kulti or Burnpur).

Inter-departmental Coordination:
Acting as the "hub" between Housekeeping (to ensure room readiness) and Food & Beverage (for morning breakfast schedules or business lunch meetings).
?Corporate Client Relations: Business hotels in Asansol often have "Company Tie-ups." You will be responsible for applying corporate discounts and maintaining records for GST billing.
