Responsibilities:
Patient Reception and Registration:
Warmly and professionally greet all patients, visitors, and other stakeholders upon arrival.
Efficiently manage the patient registration process, ensuring accurate collection and verification of patient demographics, insurance details, and relevant medical history.
Guide patients through necessary forms and obtain required signatures and consents, adhering to hospital policies and legal requirements.
Accurately enter and update patient information in the hospital's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
Explain hospital procedures, policies, and patient rights clearly and courteously.
Prepare and issue patient identification cards/bands and ensure correct application.
Manage and direct patient flow to relevant departments and consultation areas.
Appointment Management and Coordination:
Handle appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations efficiently via phone, in-person, and online portals, adhering to departmental guidelines.
Maintain organized and up-to-date appointment schedules, optimizing doctor availability and patient convenience.
Provide patients with clear pre-appointment instructions, including required documents and preparation guidelines (if any).
Coordinate appointments and follow-ups across different specialties and departments within Kauvery Hospital.
Send appointment reminders to patients through various communication channels (e.g., SMS, phone calls).
Communication and Inquiry Handling:
Answer all incoming telephone calls promptly, professionally, and courteously, directing calls to the appropriate individuals or departments.
Serve as a central point of information, providing accurate and helpful responses to inquiries regarding hospital services, doctor availability, visiting hours, payment procedures, and general hospital information.
Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints with empathy, patience, and professionalism, escalating complex issues to the Front Office Manager or Patient Relations team as needed.
Accurately record and relay messages to relevant staff members in a timely manner.
Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor in all interactions.
Payment and Billing Assistance:
Collect initial payments, co-payments, and deposits from patients accurately and issue proper receipts, following hospital financial policies.
Provide basic information regarding billing procedures and direct patients with detailed billing inquiries to the relevant billing department.
Ensure accurate handling and reconciliation of daily cash collections (if applicable).
Administrative and Operational Support:
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area, ensuring a positive first impression of Kauvery Hospital.
Manage and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, documents, and other deliveries.
Operate and maintain front office equipment, including computers, printers, scanners, multi-line telephone systems, and any other relevant technology.
Maintain adequate stock of necessary front office supplies and initiate replenishment requests as needed.
Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned by the Front Office Manager or senior staff.
Patient Assistance and Support:
Provide clear directions and guidance to patients and visitors within the hospital premises.
Offer assistance to patients with special needs (e.g., arranging for wheelchairs, guiding visually impaired individuals).
Ensure patient comfort in the waiting area by addressing any immediate needs or concerns.
Compliance and Confidentiality:
Adhere strictly to all Kauvery Hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA (or relevant Indian healthcare regulations) and hospital guidelines.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards in handling patient information.

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?14,000.00 per month
