Job Description

Position Summary



The Front Office Executive is the face of Gokulam Grand Trivandrum, responsible for delivering warm, efficient, and professional guest services. This role ensures smooth guest arrivals, departures, inquiries, and overall front office operations while upholding the hotel's five-star service standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Services & Operations



Welcome guests warmly and ensure efficient check-in and check-out processes.

Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and promptness.

Provide accurate information about hotel services, amenities, room features, and local attractions.

Coordinate with housekeeping, food & beverage, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Maintain the front desk area in a clean, organized, and guest-friendly condition.

Reservations & Cashiering



Assist with room reservations, modifications, and cancellations.

Manage billing, payment processing, and cash float responsibly.

Ensure accurate posting of room charges, services, and other transactions.

Verify guest identification and documentation as per hotel policy.

Communication & Coordination



Maintain effective communication with colleagues, supervisors, and other hotel departments.

Update guest information in the Property Management System (PMS) accurately.

Assist in VIP and special guest handling; coordinate welcome arrangements.

Manage telephone operations, emails, and other communication channels professionally.

Service Standards & Safety



Uphold five-star service standards while ensuring guest satisfaction at every touchpoint.

Follow all hotel policies, security protocols, and emergency procedures.

Support the implementation of brand standards and guest engagement programs.

RequirementsEducation & Experience



Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred.

3-5 years of experience in Front Office or Guest Relations in a luxury or business-class hotel.

Candidates with strong communication and grooming may also be considered.

Skills & Competencies



Excellent communication skills in English & Malayalam, Hindi is an advantage.

Strong interpersonal and guest-handling skills.

Proficiency in hotel PMS software (preferably IDS).

Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and handle high guest volumes.

Professional grooming, courteous demeanor, and positive attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
