Communication:
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, take messages, and handle correspondence.
Administrative support:
Schedule appointments and meetings, manage calendars, and perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and transcribing.
Mail and deliveries:
Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries. Prepare outgoing packages for dispatch.
Office maintenance:
Keep the reception area clean, tidy, and presentable.
Office supply management:
Monitor and reorder office supplies as needed.
Other duties:
Depending on the workplace, duties can include making travel arrangements, managing invoices, and assisting with other administrative tasks.
