The Front Office Associate is the face of the hotel and plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service to guests. Responsible for greeting guests, checking them in and out, managing reservations, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and professionally.
Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints with promptness and courtesy.
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for smooth room allocations.
Maintain updated knowledge of hotel services, promotions, and local attractions.
Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
Ensure compliance with security and operational procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; diploma/degree in hospitality is a plus.
Prior experience in front office or customer service roles preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in hotel management software (PMS) and MS Office.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
