Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the Property Management System (PMS).
Manage room assignments and issue room keys.
Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a courteous and timely manner.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, amenities, promotions, and local attractions.
Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions securely.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments regarding room status and guest needs.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Ensure guest records are properly maintained and confidential.
Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Provide administrative support to management as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; diploma/degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
Previous experience in a front office or customer service role preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office and hotel PMS (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) is an advantage.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
