The Front Office Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by managing check-in and check-out procedures, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring a smooth front desk operation. This role serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications
Operate the Property Management System (PMS) accurately
Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness
Maintain guest records and update information in the system
Handle cash, billing, invoicing, and payment transactions
Ensure accurate night audit support when assigned
Promote hotel services, facilities, and upsell rooms when possible
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
Follow hotel policies, safety, and security procedures at all times
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality (preferred)
Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel front office role
