Job Description

Key responsibilities:



Guest check-in and check-out:

Greet guests, verify reservations, process payments, and issue room keys for a smooth experience.

Reservations and room management:

Handle booking, cancellations, and modifications, and assign rooms based on guest preferences and availability.

Guest services:

Provide information on hotel amenities and local attractions, manage guest requests, and resolve issues or complaints promptly.

Communication:

Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, take messages, and respond to emails.

Administrative tasks:

Maintain accurate guest records and room inventory, and prepare reports for other departments.

Financial management:

Handle cash transactions, manage cash floats, and coordinate with the accounting department.

Collaboration:

Work with other departments like housekeeping and concierge to fulfill guest requests.

Required skills and qualifications:



Customer service:

Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent service and handle guest concerns.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Problem-solving:

Ability to think quickly and find solutions for guest issues.

Attention to detail:

Ensure accuracy in guest information, reservations, and billing.

Professional appearance:

Maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance.

Technical skills:

Proficiency with hotel management software is often required.

Education:

A high school diploma is typically the minimum, with a hospitality background being preferred.

Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
