: Receptionist - Nautical Escape Homestay. Full Time. 4 Days Max/week. Day and Night Shift. Salary 5K to 6K

About Nautical Escape:

Nautical Escape is a cozy and traditional homestay located in the heart of Pondicherry's White Town, just a stone's throw from the main beach. We provide a warm and welcoming experience for guests of all ages with a choice of AC and non-AC accommodations.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly and professional receptionist to be the face of Nautical Escape. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service, managing bookings, and ensuring our guests feel at home.

Responsibilities:

- Guest Relations:

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a seamless check-in and check-out process.

- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.

- Provide information about local attractions, restaurants, and services.

Reservation Management:

- Handle room bookings and reservations via online travel agencies (OTAs), phone, and walk-ins.

- Update the booking system to reflect current room availability and ensure accuracy.

- Administrative Tasks:

- Manage payment processing and maintain accurate records of transactions.

- Answer phone calls and emails professionally and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.

- Maintain a neat and organized reception area.

Operational Support:

- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and ready for new guests.

- Handle basic record-keeping and reporting tasks.

Requirements:

- Prior experience as a receptionist or in customer service is preferred but not mandatory.

- Strong English, Hindi and French (not mandatory) communication and interpersonal skills.

- Basic computer proficiency (experience with booking systems is a plus).

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as needed.
